hit and run Wedgie photo time!
Good morning! What are you up to today? It’s work for me, as usual on a Monday.
I wanted to share a quick post with you today. I am lucky that not only does my mother try to find me yarn, but so does hubby. He had a few minutes to kill at work one day last week (he drives a van for the elderly/disabled) & popped into Salvation Army, & came out with this…

Of course, before I got that nice photo to share, I took this photo…

Wedgie’s so helpful, isn’t he?
In the bags of yarn was this yarn from Big Lots…

does anyone know what it is, or what I can make with less than 50 grams of it?

it looks similiar to the ruffle yarn, but it’s as open or as wide.
Yes… I’m very aware Christmas was already a couple of weeks ago, but I’m just now getting around to downloading my camera. I won’t bore you with a ton of personal photos but I do want to share a couple with you…
First… the whole family (my in-laws)

my hubby, Jon, with our niece, Alyssa

who gave each other legos for Christmas. Aren’t they adorable?
And just one more… adorable Wedgie is EXHAUSTED after his Christmas!
He came with us to my parents house & spent the night hiding from their cat in my parents cellar. Keep in mind Wedgie weighs 18 pounds and Pooh, my parents’ cat, weighs about 4 pounds. And yes, Wedgie is scared of Pooh!
I’ll begin sharing some of the goodies I received from my family for Christmas on Thursday. I’m hoping to cobble together a wip photo or two for Wednesday.
It’s good to be blogging again!
Happy Halloween!
Shameless Wedgie love!

My adorable little boy…
Just a reminder…
(cut & pasted directly from last week’s post)
I’m also looking for some guest posters for the month of November & December – pretty much any day is open, though preferably not Friday’s (though I can always show off FOs another day of the week). Anyone who has read my blog for a while knows I focus mainly on crocheting & books, with the occasional family stuff, yard sale finds, shameless Wedgie cat photos, etc. I’d be open to yarn crafts (including spinning & dying), talking about going to a fiber festival, vintage craft stuff, almost anything craft related really. I’d be more then open to other ideas as well. You’d be welcome to include links to your goodies, I’d of course tweet, facebook, etc. your guest post. I’m currently averaging 500-1000 hits a day, with occasional highs of 2000 hits a day. I’ve been holding steady at those numbers for about 6 months now.
