Crochet World’s – ah, I still love Crochet World magazine. It’s one of the first magazines my grandmother ever got me into, way, way way back in the day, and some of my first projects came out of this magazine.

vintage magazines and leaflets

Good morning! Let’s get started with this week’s vintage love, shall we?

First, another older leaflet, called Lacey’s Mohair Sweaters

one of the inside pages… makes you want to make a dickey, out of mohair, eh?

pile of vintage magazines
Yup, I got a little lazy here! You can see some of the magazines I’ve already shared with you

scrap afghans
Neither of these I’ve ever seen before. I used to love mile a minute afghans, and I always love new scrap afghan patterns. The ones in both of the leaflets aren’t really inspired, though… *shrugs*

vintage treasures

Good morning! Once again, vintage love!

magazines
I love the vest in the top left hand mag…

big needle knit afghans
Does anyone want this book? I’m not a fan of big needle knitting, it’s too heavy & hurts my arms, and I definitely am not interested in quick knit afghans… if I want a quick afghan, I’ll crochet it… I’ll take any offer for the book, but please include something for shipping! (I’ll even take scrap acrylic yarn for my charity afghans)

vintage mags and leaflets

Good morning! Here is the next week’s installment of crafty vintage leaflets, and don’t forget to check out last week’s installment of vintage craft magazines, too

First:
afghans heir loom
Somewhere I have the loom you need to make these afghans, but I couldn’t find it. I’m pretty sure I’ve shared the loom with you when I did last year’s vintage posts.

afghan leaflets
More vintage afghan leaflets, can you imagine the amount of work must go into these?

christmas presents – purse handles, knit kits, more

Good morning!
Are you sick of me sharing my Christmas goodies yet?

Well today is a quickie post, I want to share some of the miscellaneous craft goodies I received from my parents for Christmas, and then next week I’ll begin sharing all the vintage craft mags & leaflets I got!

purse handles
I have some many hair pin lace looms now, I really need to play with hairpin lace!

fabric knit kit bags
one for me & one for my mom! I love the backpack! These kits are pretty complete, and I’ve never knit with fabric so I’m really looking forward to this one!

Also, in case you missed it, there’s still lots of time to join us in our crafty book challenge! Won’t you please join us & help spread the word?
