I honestly didn’t think I was going to join any book challenges this year, honest I didn’t. I signed up for a few one year & after the first couple of months, completely forgot all about them. Let’s face it, being organized & following through on things are NOT my strong suit.

But, on a Novel Challenge, a blog I follow (even though I swear I won’t join challenges) posted a new challenge that I just couldn’t resist…

I love this series, have since the very first book that I read in the series. I remember shopping with my mother at a local retail store, long out of business, buying clothes for back to school, when I saw the cover & instantly bought Voyager. I was hooked from the first page & immediately hunted down the first two books in the series.

Just the other day, browsing through the library, I saw the latest book in the series & remembered I never did read that one, and then I started thinking about how the next one will be due out soon, and the thought sort of got stuck in my head … until tonight, when I saw the challenge. Yup I’m in! I’m pledging to:

reread Breath of Snow and Ashes (Outlander, #6)

and then read Echo in the Bone (Outlander, #7) and hopefully Written in My Own Heart’s Blood (Outlander, #8)
