The afghan is done! All in all, a very fast crochet. This baby is big – about 5 feet square – and weighs over 3.5 pounds. If you are new to my site, here’s last year’s Alzheimer’s afghan post, which raised over $550 for my cousin Adrienne’s Alzheimer’s memory walk, in memory of our grandmother, Ruth, & her father / my uncle Joel, who has early onset Alzheimer’s.

We are raffling off tickets & all money goes directly to Adrienne’s fundraising walk. We’re doing it the same as last year – anyone in the US can buy tickets (I make the afghan & my mother pays to have it shipped).

Every $5 donation is one raffle ticket, but even if you donate less than $5, you still get one entry, and any amount, even pocket change, is greatly, greatly, greatly appreciated.

Last year a bunch of my coworkers gave me literally the change in the bottom of their purses / pockets, & trust me, it all adds up!
