If you live in the US, you know today is Memorial day, the unofficial start of summer. We usually take a day trip with my parents over the weekend, have a bonfire, & go to a local yard sale or five. No bonfire this year, but we did manage to see Men in Black III at the drive in

and a few odd skeins of yarn at the yard sales we hit.

We also went to Pittsfield State Park, where we saw these

spent some time hunting down the exact location of the Hoosac Tunnel

and managed to get some ice cream, too, just before Atkins Farm closed.
